I have a 7000 in house with 450K. The toner light comes on about every 100 sq's. We remove toner and shake and reinstall.
Printer will run short time and shut down with toner light on.
Any help with this issue.

Just a thought, the way I load toner on the kip6000\7000 is after shaking the toner (smoothing it) I shake it one last time all to the left then install. I know on a lot of machines you shake the toner in cartriges then level it before install, but I found if you encourage all the toner in cartridge to left then install it helps alot. Hope that's of some help _________________ This day will be my best day ever! |

The toner sensor in this model and the 6000 is Mickey Mouse at best.
Obviously thought up after a bad night of drinking sake'.
It is simply a weight sensor and is very sensitive.
You can adjust the positioning of the sensor arrray or adjust the spring for the linkage.
PS this is a very common issue on the 6000 and 7000. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |
