Has anyone had a development roller with small like gouges on it after some use?
I have a unit that's damaged its originally dev. roller at around 220,000 sq ft with these marks in it.
There was four marks, one on each end and two somewhere in the middle of the roller.
The marks look like a small peace of the roller was scratched away and all four marks were in the same line from right two left.
No other marks or damage anywhere else on the Dev roller.
After some use the marks on the Dev. roller would damage the Drum ( score marks that rap right around the Drum in the four spots)
I did the Dev roller Kit , Supply roller kit , Drum , Cleaning roller
The unit now has 40,000 SQ FT on the new parts (260,000 SQ FT total) and the four marks on the development roller are starting to come back.
When I removed the Development assy. I noticed a small ball of toner right in top of the marks, it wasn't hard but was visible.
Any thoughts? not looking to toast another drum.

MY Theory on the development roller being damaged
I believe that if one of the 40T gears in the Upper Frame Drive had lost a tooth this would cause the drum to spin out of sync with the development roller and slowly eat away at the development roller.
And it would only happen in the same spot of the development roller cause the revolution would always be the same.
Two weeks ago I had to replace both of the 40T gears in the Upper Drive (eight teeth gone on one of the two gears)and soon I will be doing the development roller and Drum again and my bets are that this time every thing will be fine
