I have an older 8000 that is constantly going into sleep mode. I turn the sleep mode off in user modes 3 and 4 but when the machine is powered off and back on again the modes go back to default, which is 15 min warm sleep and 90 min cold sleep. I suspect the battery on the control board is the problem. I see the Doc has a repair service for the board but since my customer would be down while the board is repaired I am wondering how long the turnaround time is.
