I have looked all over here and on KIP forum with no luck.

I have a customer that tried to create a scan to email box and it erred on them, shocking i know...

Condition 5 is the error displayed on machine OP when clicking on mono STF.
The GUI locks up if they click on the box to try to del it.

PrintNET does not see the box. only sees other boxes. They cannot use any scanning to file now because of Condition 5 error. Seems like the GUI is trying to access the file but the file is not there, that is why print net does not see it?

hope that was clear. any help would be great! Mainly looking for where the mailboxes are stored so i can wipe them out and re input.

that was my plan but I do not know where the scandir is located on the controller. anyone know what the file path is for it? c: ? d: ?

I suppose a search for scandir will turn it up at worst case

CLose the UI and Unattend then go to D:\Monpath1\ScanDir. That is where you will find the Mailboxes. There is usually a .nam file that needs to be deleted. If there isn't too many mailboxes, I would delete them all and recreate them.

Use the UI to recreate the mailboxes, I for one haven't had much success doing it other ways. Still baffles me how the *.nam file gets corrupted or is missing sometimes.

here is the error that is popping up when clicking mono scan to file.

I checked in D:/monpath1/scandir and the only thing in there was an empty "thumbs" folder. So not sure if that was the right location. version of software is 7.4

It's actually on the D drive - monpath1/request/scandir. Sorry for the confusion. This path is from 6.5 so there may be slight differences.

Yea i checked in the d drive. no dice.

I see there is another update from 7.264.x to 7.381. Ill try that first and see if it helps. searching for the folders with the windows search gave no results either.

If I am sending a patch via request, I have to manually run it on the controller or does it run by its self when sent? I do not recall as I have only done it once or twice a while back.

thx again

If you use Request to do the transfer it will open and run.
