Good afternoon everyone...the fuser in our one unit starting going & causing some image quality issues, so replaced it today with a fresh one from KIP. When replaced most of the page looks great except the far left and right of the prints (title block/border) are still coming out half toned. Usually when I replace a fuser this solves the issue. The top and bottom wires are newer and so is the drum. Any suggestions?

I am thinking it needs a developer refresh...will send it to the KIP Doctor and hope that solves it.

Depending on how many square feet are on that developer roller, I typically remove the dv roller and clean it with some sort of solvent like Dink or INX, you just need to get the hard toner coating off of it, and I use a brush and vacuum on the supply roller. The process works well if you don't want to spend the money on a full refurb of your dv unit.
