CAN ANYBODY GIVE SOME INSIGHT ON WHY TONER WOULD BE LEAKING IN OUR 8000 MACHINE AT THE CASE SUPPORT, I CAHANGED THE CASE SUPPORT IN THE MACHINE SAME RESULT. THIS PROBLEM IS IN TWO MACHINE SIDE BY SIDE AND STARTED ABOUT THE SAME TIME. SAME TONER FOR YEARS AND WE USE IT IN ALL FIVE OF OUR MACHINE. |

Are you still having this problem? I also began having that problem on a couple of our 8000's after using the same toner for years. I finally found where it was coming from...it's almost as if the toner sensor isn't reading the toner level in the hopper entrance(tried changing the sensor, but same problem) and it keeps forcing toner into the hopper entrance. I tricked the side door opened & watched & toner was actually shooting up in spurts like a mini geiser from the side of the toner hopper between the toner hopper cover & the toner hopper. I removed the cover & placed a narrow piece of black binding tape along the edge of the lid to create a better seal & that helped a lot. Not sure if this could be from a change in the toner consistency? The quality seemed the same though. |

We ended up replacing the support case and the square seal 133. Seems to have fixed out issue. |
