| I have an Oce TDS 400 that is giving me an 8503 error after failing to eject a printout. The paper gets into the fusing area and sometimes gets cut but it will stop at that point. The heating area seems really hot to me and it smells HOT. Anybody have any ideas where I shoud be looking? I don't seem to find any information in the service manuals. |

replace the solid state relay....#1302507
an NTC resister may be defective also
the error is fuser temp too high which you can get if printer is experiencing heavy use
