| I'm sure you all know these puppies are available at blowout prices. Around here the Xerox shops lead with this product and not with the 6030/6050. The 510 is still on Xerox's website (and most of their dealers) but I'm told it is discontinued (no longer mfg) and that the remaining units are being sold off cheap. How cheap is what I'm trying to find out. This will help with a competitive deal where price is an issue vs. a 6000 STF. My research estimates the list price for a 3-roll unit w/scanner, 7 D/min upgrade, flat stacker, PS option, Scan-to-net, AccXES controller, Scanner catch tray and freight at $42K. I think the real selling price is no more than $28K when they know there will be competitive quotes. Like to hear what you all think...are the dealers making any $$ at that kind of low price? |
