Hello to KIP community,
I plan to get several KC80 for a very specific advertising printing, but I wish to have a stable supplier. I've already seen the machine and it complies to my need.
One point remains to clarify: the maximum possible printed volume while running the machine 16 or 24 hours per day.
Is there some feedback about machine reliability and maintenance?
Are the real MCBC, MCBF already known?
Are the information given by KIP regarding maintenance optimistic or true?
Thanks. |

Hi
your question is really silly as the KC80's are brand new and not yet been pushed to all the limits. The main issue will be media selection. Media choice will change the life of the machine. If recommended media is used and the environment is within recommended specs then i believe you will get the performance suggested from the machine.
Kip have made a great box. I have the first installed customer machine and it has been hammered at different times. I watched a 1.5k meter run on the machine. 1000's of prints. The machine did not miss a beat. Print quality was as good at the end as it started.
I now have 3 machines running and i am very impressed with them.
27 years in the copy - printing industry and i have never seen such a well put together box like these.[ except dev refurbs - yet to be done] _________________ I used to have hair!!! |

Hi,
i have some KC80 in the field and must say, they are working very good. My first machine had in the moment about 50 k linear meter printed, and i didnĀ“t refresh the dev and drums.
