Hello guys,

I've seen the machine in Drupa and I still have question regarding market for this printer.
Technically, it looks to work fine. I didn't test it with my own files and I guess the files printed with were prepared for KC80. The main problem will be the running cost.
As the construction looks to be a pile of 4 printers (Y,M,C,K), I'm also afraid of the maintenance, knowing how important is the rigour of the engineer for KIP machines.
Are some machines yet arrived in customer place?
What are the targetted markets?
What is the feedback of these first installations?
Thanks for your answers.

HI guys. We have now 2 KC80 machines installed and they are fantastic!!
both have run well over 6 k meters. We have found a great market in the street poster market. Short run up to 100 plus and as much as 1200 A0 sizes posters are very profitable. We print on various medias but just the good old plan paper works excellent. The support we have received from KIP is the best.
I get a great kick driving around our city and seeing the prints every where.
We also hope to capture more of the point of sale market. We have one site that will buy just based on the poly media prints. Unfortunately for us the Yen has gone through the roof so our sales are on hold. We cant wait to get more out there.
