I have a customer that has a 7000 with a dead 1200 stacker (parts not availble right now) so we are using the wire stacker. The problem is that with mylar the drawing never makes it all the way up the rack before stoping, then the drawing curls up, then the next drawing jams in the printer. Is there anything that can be done with the wire rack to allow mylar to stack better?
If anybody has the controller PCB (PW5420 + 7000 Prom or the new PW5420 with dip switches) please contact me.

Alan,
You will never be able to push hot mylar up on a stacker.
Do you have a stacker 200 you can use that should work great for mylars.
This way the mylar will drop down. |

Yeah I kind of figured as much. What I did was bent the wire rack until it was almost straight out the back and it is working much better, only had one mylar jam after about 20 sheets.
I have found that part for there stacker from another dealer so that will be fixed Monday.
