I hava job that is hung in power print unattend que. If I turn the manager mode off I get the runtime 52 error. With the manager mode turned on I try to "Remove Job" but it will not remove. I have tried sending another job so I could move the bad one down and then try removing it, but it wont let me move the bad file/job. What can I do to get rid of the bad print job?
Thanks, Alan

Alan, shut down unattend, go to task manager and kill these processes, mh2, mtf, pscript. These are all exes. Then go to c:\monpath1\request and delete all of the files/folders there. DO NOT DELETE THE REQUEST FOLDER, just everything that is in it. Restart unattend and you should be good to go.

Powerprint Purge can help resolve these issues with the click of an icon. Install it on your controller and if things get locked up like that run the utility and it should clear all the crap out of your print queue folders.

Oh man, am I an idiot. Neil is absolutely right . Power print purge is the best piece of software written for those damn KIP controllers. How could I have forgotten this? Props to Neil for a great little app.

Neil:

Thanks for the advise. Worked like a charm. I used to be a xerox tech and worked on their 8855 and 721 (kip 8000 and 9010). Now I own a print shop and am using the equipment. Your tech tips are very helpful with my old 7095. Thanks again
