I have a customer with a 2053 system. The machine always wants to pull from deck 2. If I select deck 1 I get paper from both deck 1 and deck 2 which jams in the machine. If I select deck 3 the paper backs out. If I select deck 2 I get a perfect print. This even happens using the internal test print. I changed the Roll Feed board but the problem did not go away. Any suggestions??? _________________ Everytime something is made idiot proof... the world creates a better idiot! |

Connections on the roll feeder board have been known to go bad. Reseat all connections on that board and see if that helps at all. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |

Replaced the connector on roll deck 3. It looked okay, but one corner was broken off. Obviously enough to cause a short across things. Anyway, new connector and we're away to the races. Still puzzled why that would have anything to do with roll deck one, but... it's working and the gods are happy! _________________ Everytime something is made idiot proof... the world creates a better idiot! |
