| Is there a difference in the interface card in the 1050 models versus 1051 models? If not, I may have one. |

| I think the IF cards are different for the white controllers and black controllers. I don't believe the serial number matters but I could be wrong. |

There is differences in the IF cards for various IPS units due to changing chipsets. Unfortunately there isn't anything that will let you know what card goes with what IPS unit.
This will be hit or miss until you find the one that works. |

| I know when they discontinued the 1050 serial number support and I thought I could still get a controller, had to be the same controller as the 1051, Kip said no, the interface card is different, the controller is different. CJ, can you verify the serial number of the Kip so I can reference it against my IF card? |

Hi TJ,
The serial number is a 1050 but we are changing the controller from the old white box to a newer black one. The IF cards are different for the two controllers. Meanwhile I found someone who shipped us one so if it doesn't work I will let you know. Thanks for the help. |

| I'm glad you found one CJ, I guess I could have just asked what the interface card # was on the new controller you plan to use. Hopefully the one you are receiving works. |
