I am now coming up with this app error. I was getting a runtime error 53.
ended up removing untnd and related apps.
whre I re-installed controller software 5.xxx I now comes uo with thid prob.
send a file, "test print" to the 7095, it printe about a 3a'x36" sheet and throws up error come " APLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURRED. Kipprnt.exe
EXCEPTION ACC VIOLATION (0xc0000005) ADDRESS 0x77164d7b"
Do you think that removing Kip 5xxx controller software, kipfiles,and then install 5xx will tske csre of the problem? if not, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a mismatch of kipprnt.exe and kipdrvr.sys files. Or the wrong ones are loaded.
Can you get the dates of kipprnt.exe, kipscan.exe, kipdrvr.sys and kipscan.sys? |

It took me longer to get back to the customer, but here is what I found.
The files are dated as follows:
kipdrvr.sys 5-3-00
kipprnt.exe 5-3-00
kipscan.exe 5-3-00
could not find kipscan.sys on the system, although kipscan loads and I am able to scan and save to hard drive.
I don't know what to do next.

PS all started with a "runtime 53" error, to which I removed the Power Print applications and then used the PPS4 upgrade to PPS 5 to re-install. Also re-installed kip files. Machine would only load the upgrade, was not able to just load the PPS5xx disk. |
