I have a older 8000 and a newer one. We have been getting a difference of about 15,000 SQ. FT. difference in the time it takes one toner bottle to go through a machine. I am hoping someone knows why this is happening. we refurbished both the developers at the same time and dropped new drums in to get better quality prints. Now i am just getting this problem. please let me know any ideas. Thank you. |

The only thing I can think of is Strobe timing ! Assuming the toner is not spilling in the machine, it has nowhere else to go but on the prints. If one of the two has a higher strobe timing (or dev bias voltage) you may be using more toner than required to make solid black. |

Have you checked the density setting of the Unattend software? |

Another question is how much footage are we supposed to get out of one toner cartridge? |
