when i turn on the kip9000, the drum is immediately covered with a layer of toner, then codes E-26.
any tips

I just had the same thing happen this morning. I cleaned the charge corona unit and replaced the wires. All is good now. |

Had same problem with paper jam cause paper was all black...when I open up the drum unit, found almost 4-5mm of toner on Drum !!!!
The regulation roller gear was dead/broken. I replaced it and everything was fine. |

i replaced the charge unit and the machine worked fine then a day later i went to run some prints and they came out black and then of course E-26
drum covered in toner
baffled |

Have you replaced anything other than the charge unit???
Have you checked HV charges?
You might have a bad HV power supply. |
