I just had the same thing happen this morning. I cleaned the charge corona unit and replaced the wires. All is good now.

Had same problem with paper jam cause paper was all black...when I open up the drum unit, found almost 4-5mm of toner on Drum !!!!

The regulation roller gear was dead/broken. I replaced it and everything was fine.

Have you replaced anything other than the charge unit???

Have you checked HV charges?

You might have a bad HV power supply.
