Are you using the bypass tray?
Our 8000 paper draws don't have sensors for 15" paper. Our spindels don't show a 15" mark to line up the paper roll to either.
We have never used 15" rolls. Not sure if the bypass will recognize 15".

You need to set it to 17" and when you submit the job set it to centered so it will only print in the 15" area

Did anyone get this to work? We tried every combination we could think of to get our 8000 to recognize the paper, but it always goes back to 11" and 12".

Any help or suggestions is apreciated.

This is what we do.
1.You can only use drawer 1
2.align the right side of your roll where it says A3 on spindle.KIP should say 18"
3.In KIP Request force size and tell it is an 18" roll and 21" long.
then shift the image all the way to the left (still in force size) save it as something you will remember.

and away you go priniting 15x21 on the 8000
