|
|
On our 7000 whenever roll 2 tries to load after closing the drawer, it will feed the roll up to check it and when it rolls back to its normal position, there's a noise and it makes the drawer pop out enough to cause a U-01. It does not matter if the machine has 24 30 or 36 inch paper in roll 2 and any one of the 4 spindles from the machine causes the same result always on roll 2.
Anyone seen this before? |

each exterior side of the rolldeck has a latch that latches to a pin mounted to the printer end plates. check to see if the pins or latches are loose _________________ Ride To Live |

Chazbo is correct. I have been to several machines where the pin has fallen completely out. I apply a small amount of Loc-Tite to the threads to prevent it from reocurring. Have fun accessing the one on the right side. _________________ "Learn how to work, Kid" - BTLS |

Correct, been there, done that. Not fun, especially the right side, but no way around it. |
