I service this printer for a customer and they called me yesterday with a strange scaling issue. About the middle third of the print is slightly shorter than it should be.
They made a scale that runs from lead to trail edge. I printed one from a HP 1055 and confirmed the scale was correct. If I line up the print from the Savin with the print from the HP the lead edge of the scale and the the trail edge lines up perfectly. But when I compare the rest of the scale, I can see that the lines get closer together, then farther apart until they line up correctly again.
Sheet length is correct. As is registration.
This one has me scratching my head. Need some help here, please!
