Hello,

i have at each week or 2, e51-2 on this machine, i change corona block (both), all wire, i put nail polish on block sometime is work sometime i need to change the transfer corona. Very intermittent do you have any idee ? Thanks very much.

1) Try completely rebuilding and cleaning the transfer corona. Replace the end blocks again. I've been shipped defective parts before. Instead of nail polish, try using liquid rubber. Tell the guy at the hardware store you want a container of the stuff used to put a coating of rubber on your plier handles.
2) Inspect and thouroughly clean the receiving block for the transfer corona.
3) Replace the corona springs and hooks or use a pointy razor to scrape the old ones down to a new shiney layer (I've had this work for me before).

That's funny Joey.

Make sure the wires are very tight. Loose wires vibrate more and can arc more. Is the tranfer area getting dirty with toner quickly? Dirty wires will pop that code also. You may want to look at the thread in the 6000 forums about ending E51's once and for all.

Then you can call KIP.
