|
|
I just installed Kip 6.5 on the internal controller. When I send a job the machine fires up like it's going to print but then it just starts flashing Kip Printer Error 35. I installed the same software on my 8000 and it works fine. So I'm not sure what I did or didn't do. Any ideas? Thanks. |

we ran into this before, your DPI is set incorrectly.
check the winuntd.ini for something like printerdpi=###
it needs to be set to 400 i believe, its been a few months since we did this |

That was exactly it. When we re-formatted the IPS we clicked Kip 6000 600 dpi instead of the 400 dpi. So I re-ghosted I selected 400 dpi and it works fine now. Thanks for your help. |

There is a way to do it without reghosting again. There is a printer setup exe on the controller that will allow you to reselect the printer type. Also you can go into the winuntd.ini and change the dpi setting to 400. |
