What version of software do you currently have on your 2000? I believe there is a HDP 6.5 version out there. If you can locate one, you should be fine using any Win7 PC to it, in regards to the WPD. But if you'll need the mixenviroment.exe patch if you are going to use Request on the Win7 PC to your 2000. |

6.5.492
We are upgrading out AutoCAD workstations from Xp boxes to Win7 boxes.
I cannot seem to make Win7 talk to the 2000 because I have no driver for it.
Configuring the XP machines was always real easy. Win7, not so much. |

Any KIP WPD version 3.55 or newer has .ppd and .inf files for Win7. As for the HIDI Drivers, I believe any of the newer ones will work. |

Thanks. I finally got it to work. The confusion was that the 2000 was not listed in the pull-down menu in the wpd.exe program I downloaded from KIP's site. So I did not what, if any, driver would work.
I finally used the 3000 drivers and it seems to be working fine now. |
