Do have any knowledge as to how KIP or its dealers handle pooling service
agreements? For example
Plan 6 for one 8xxx system is $ 1,995.00 w/ 200K sf allowance. Do you know
if its a good idea to write contracts for (2) 8xxx systems
allowing for 200K SF for the same price and still make a profit?
Xerox has been doing this for years but I can't find any service pooling
pricing from KIP.
What is everyone else doing?
Thanks in advance |

I have pooled service contracts on identical equipment at the same location. Actually makes my job a bit easier as if one goes down it is not quite an emergency to get there. Whatever volume level you pick, say 500,000 sq, customers pays for that 500,000 dosent matter if they run 499,999 on one and 1 on the other. Price is the same.. Seems to work good for me. Most of my customers are multi 8000 shops. _________________ What we have gained in technology, we have lost in humanity. |
