I have a KIP 6000 with a 1200 stacker and Eprom KST09 with dip switches at the top. What could I do to get it to work with a Kip 7900. I can't seem to find it in the manual.

Thanks to all,

JaY

If the stacker is the one with the dipswitches then you shouldn't have to change anything. I believe it remains the same for all machines except the "highspeed" KIP8k/9k.

Thanks, when I called Kmart they told me to change the chip to KST08 and then turn dip switch 1 to the on position. Just in case I figured I ask here first so I don't look stupid in front of the customer like I have been lately.

Thanks

Hmmm...maybe you should go with what KIP says. At least if they are wrong, you can be upset with them, not me...LOL. I am pretty sure on the switches but not really sure about the chip. But why are they having you go from a 9 to an 8 chip?
