am doing some testing on the 7.2x software on a kip9000
did the upgrade and now have light prints
internal test prints are great, but when i send a job the prints come out light
am using 7.1.0 request
wonder if this would cause problems
i cant get the 7.2x request to install on workstation -- comes up with a runtime 9 error when i try to run the request app
thanks |

I also did the upgrade to 7.2.102. I am not having any density or darkness issues, but the following is what is happening:
1. Scan to PDF on our 2080 scanner 33 24x36 originals. Using Request
6.5.109 send 3 sets to our 7000 and 7 sets to the 9000. The 7000
finishes the 3 sets before the 9000 has even finished 1 set.
2. Making set copies using 2100 scanner that is attached to the 9000, it will
sometime randomly print blank sheets. Other times it will print a couple
sheets and then pause and "process". It may continue on non-stop or
it may pause several more times.
3. Yesterday had some PDF's sent to us that printed errors. Converted them
to TIFF using KIP Convert. They printed errors on the 9000, but printed
fine on the 7000.
Any thoughts or suggestions. When the machine had the 6.5 on it, there was a problem with PDF's missng text, layers, etc. |
