Customer uses this machine for cadd plots only. Normal D size print will show alignment issues with every pass of the carriage. It's only off by a mil, but looks like crap over the course of the print. Looking at the border left and right, you can see the steps right away. Printhead alignment does no good. Any ideas? |

New belt, new encoder strip, all calibrations done without error, media correct, diagnostic print looks fine.
Apparently they had the autocad driver set to draft mode. Using default settings for line/text, the machine slows down enough that the prints are perfect. Thanks for the reply Chaz. |
