As the subject indicates, I have a 6000 that prints half of the first sheet normally and then loses transfer for the rest of the sheet. The image is on the paper but very-very-very faintly. Subsequent plots are fine until the machine is idle for a while. Then the same thing happens again. I have replaced the transfer and sep wires and the transfer end blocks. Anyone had this before? |

Have you hooked up a meter to your tranfer lead to see if it is an elctrical issue? Is the trans/sep unit sitting square? Man this one is odd.... |

look in your process unit left side wall you have 3 ground brass contacts make sure those are getting good contact with your developer tank ground seen it a few times the contacts could get bend up when putting back the process unit hope this helps. |

That would make sense about the contacts but if I understand him it only happens on the first half of the sheet, then all is well until the machine sits idle. If the contacts were bent, wouldn't that cause the problem to be constant??? Not bashing the idea, so please don't take this wrong. |
